About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Psychologist to join our West Norfolk CAMHS Team, based at Thurlow House in Kings Lynn.
This is an innovative service offering assessment and treatment of young people under the age of 14 with a variety of complex mental health needs.
We are looking for psychology graduates with previous Assistant Psychologist or relevant clinical experience who are interested in working with young people with emotional and mental health difficulties.
Weekly supervision for this post will be provided by a clinical psychologist within the team.
We have good links with the University of East Anglia (UEA) Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programme.
Main Duties
Within this role, the post holder will have the opportunity to help assess, formulate and deliver a range of psychological interventions to young people and families across this age range.
Working as part of the MDT, this role will involve working with staff to offer psychologically informed care, develop psychological formulations, and support the wider team with undertaking routine outcome measures and reporting on these outcomes.
Further responsibilities of this post will include conducting reviews alongside Clinical Psychologists within the team, supporting the wider psychological therapies team, and supporting with monitoring of clients on waiting.
