About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our West Norfolk Community Learning Disability Team as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology and work collaboratively with a range of professionals in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake protocol-based psychological assessments and assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
  • Work jointly with other professionals to provide individual and group work, and support with research activities as required.
  • Contribute to the work of the Community Learning Disabilities Team and assist in the development of care plans involving the psychological treatment and/or management of clients' problems.
Requirements
  • Honours degree in psychology - 2:1 or above.
  • Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Experience of working with vulnerable clients and relevant paid or voluntary work.
