About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Psychologist to join our West Norfolk CAMHS Team, based at Thurlow House in Kings Lynn.

This is an innovative service offering assessment and treatment of young people under the age of 14 with a variety of complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, formulate, and deliver a range of psychological interventions to young people and families across this age range.
  • Work as part of the MDT to offer psychologically informed care, develop psychological formulations, and support the wider team with undertaking routine outcome measures and reporting on these outcomes.
  • Conduct reviews alongside Clinical Psychologists within the team, support the wider psychological therapies team, and support with monitoring of clients on waiting.
Requirements
  • A BPS accredited degree in Psychology.
  • Experience of quantitative research.
  • Skills using microcomputers for databases or data analysis, especially SPSS for Windows.
