About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work with adults with complex neurological disorders, providing specialist neuropsychological assessment and treatment services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention services for adults with complex neurological disorders.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with complex client behaviors.
- Develop and deliver psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) with experience in neuropsychology and complex client care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients with complex needs.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
- Knowledge of legislation related to client groups and mental health, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
