Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious pubs. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for leading a team of chefs in the kitchen, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of chefs in the kitchen, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and quality food.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to design and deliver new menus and daily specials.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement new ideas and initiatives to drive sales and growth, working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Kitchen Manager in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and quality food, with a focus on driving sales and growth.
