Role Overview
The Mental Health Support Assistant plays a vital role in supporting children with additional needs in inclusive education settings. If you're committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with SEMH, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
RIBBONS AND REEVES seeks dedicated University Graduates to join our exceptional schools in Central London. As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you'll be working closely with faculty, SENDCo, and SEN professionals to create a safe and equitable environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting inclusive learning by accommodating the needs of children with SEMH and EHCPs
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with children with SEMH needs
- Collaborating with faculty, SENDCo, and SEN professionals to aid the holistic development of pupils
- Guaranteeing a safe and equitable environment for all children
Requirements:
- Obtained a degree in Psychology/Education (with a specialised knowledge of SEMH) from a Top UK University
- Previous experience and enthusiasm for working with children
- Showcase excellent communication and organisational skills, patience, and resilience
Compensation: £475-£550 per week (inclusive of Holiday Pay), paid weekly via PAYE. Term time work only.
