Clinical Lead for Early-Onset Eating Disorders

We are recruiting a Clinical Lead to join our North Central London wide Community Eating Difficulties Service. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with early onset eating disorders and lead a team of clinicians.

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the service, ensuring excellent clinical standards, and utilizing resources effectively. They will also contribute to the continued development of the service.

Main duties include providing clinical leadership to the NCL Eating Difficulties Service for young people aged 8-18 years, managing and supervising specialist CYP CAMHS practitioners, and developing the service in collaboration with stakeholders.

As part of a psychological therapies service, referrals for high medical risk cases will be managed in conjunction with other services. The post holder will work closely with service users and stakeholders to ensure the service meets the needs of young people in the NCL.

Key responsibilities and requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Clinical Area of Practice
  • Masters or Doctorate level qualification or equivalent in Clinical Area of Practice
  • Post Graduate Supervisor or Management qualification
  • Experience in safeguarding and risk management
  • Familiarity with strategic planning and business development
  • Awareness of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles

Desirable qualifications include experience in treating early-onset eating disorders, ongoing professional development, project work, and community-based clinical experience.

Estimated annual salary: £90,000 - £120,000, dependent on experience and location in North London.
