Clinical Psychologist CAMHS Eating Disorder Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical psychologist to join our busy community CAMHS Eating Disorders team. As a specialist in eating disorders, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children and adolescents with eating disorders using evidence-based therapies such as Family Therapy for Eating Disorders and CBT for Eating Disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities to develop your skills in service evaluation and development.
Main Duties
Providing psychological therapy to children and adolescents with eating disorders, including assessment and treatment planning, individual and group therapy sessions, and consultation with other healthcare professionals. Collaborating with the team to develop and implement treatment plans, and contributing to the development of the service.

Requirements
Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society. Eligible for Chartership as a clinical psychologist (BPS). HCPC registration. Experience of working with children and adolescents with eating disorders, and knowledge of evidence-based therapies such as Family Therapy for Eating Disorders and CBT for Eating Disorders. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, and to communicate complex information to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
