Job Title: Senior Clinical Lead for Adult Eating Disorders

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Lead to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in shaping the ongoing development of our adult eating disorders service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in eating disorders, with experience in managing teams and delivering expert supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients and their families, while also promoting a mutually supportive and stimulating working environment for our staff.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Service and Strategic lead, the Team Manager, the Consultant Adult Psychiatrist, and the Clinical Lead (CYP) to develop and deliver a comprehensive community eating disorder service for adult patients
  • Ensuring advanced knowledge of effective risk management at team level, including accident/incident reporting, assessing and controlling risk, and ensuring residual risks are added to the Trust register
  • Playing a central role in promoting the development of effective working relationships with key external stakeholders, including colleagues in primary care, from the North East London Adult Eating Disorder Provider Collaborative, the ICBs, and other statutory and voluntary agencies

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications to MSc level and above
  • Significant experience in NHS and ED services
  • Experience of managing teams and delivering expert supervision
