Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Residential Care Manager to join our team at Field View Care Recruitment Solutions. As a Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to a team of care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to a team of care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people in our care.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and education staff, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working with young people in residential care.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's home.
- Previous experience in a role requiring supervision and management of care staff.
- Ability to demonstrate auditing, managing budgets, and monitoring skills.
- Good working knowledge of children's homes regulations and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework.
