The role of Town Planner at a multi-disciplinary developer in Rugby is an exciting opportunity for career growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting land through the planning process, securing allocations for housing and commercial development, and supporting the management of planning applications and strategic land projects.

Purpose of the Role:

The Town Planner will play a key role in promoting land through the planning process, securing land allocations for both housing and commercial development, and supporting the management of planning applications and strategic land projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the planning team to promote land through the planning process.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
  • Collaborate with the Land team to review site layouts and constraints.
  • Oversee the management of Reserved Matters planning applications.
  • Track the discharge of conditions and manage S106 payments.
  • Appoint and manage external consultants.

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Urban Planning or a related field.
  • Proven experience in planning applications and land promotion.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
