About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT Sales and Business Expansion Professional to join our team at entrust IT Group, a leading Managed Services Provider based in Hampshire.

This is a full-time opportunity with excellent earning potential, offering a unique chance to progress your sales career with a well-established company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business acquisitions and working to win new business in the regional area around our Aldershot office. They will report directly to the Commercial Director.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial setting, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the IT/Technology industry.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • To locate new business opportunities using telephone sales
  • To follow up on leads provided by the marketing team
  • To conduct sales meetings in person and via video conference
  • To ensure our CRM system is kept up to date with the latest information on sales leads
  • To hit sales performance targets
  • To conduct regularly scheduled account management calls/meetings with customers
  • To use customer relationships to drive upsell opportunities
  • To advise the marketing team on growth opportunities to target

The required skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills, relaxed telephone manner, quick thinking, and ability to work independently
  • A willingness to work hard to develop a network of contacts and sales opportunities
  • Knowledge of the IT/Technology industry
  • A can-do attitude and an ability to work mostly unsupervised
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Good telephone manner
