Sales and Business Development Specialist

We're looking for a skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team, responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
This role combines account management and sales development, requiring a results-driven professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of expense management systems.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be pivotal in:
- Client Relationship Management
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders in client and partner organisations.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for client accounts, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Sales Development
- Identifying and engaging prospective clients through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Presenting and demonstrating expense management solutions to potential customers, tailoring pitches to their needs.
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
- Account Growth
- Managing and prioritising key activities with ownership, and agreeing regular reviews with top 10% of clients.
- Working with Solutions Architect to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
About you:
- You have a proven track record in sales or account management, ideally in software/SaaS or expense management solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of expense management, financial processes, or compliance is an advantage.
- You are results-driven, with a proactive approach to sales and account management.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, plus benefits and professional development opportunities.
