Exhibitions Coordinator

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in arts management, overseeing the production and coordination of exhibitions. As an Exhibitions Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing consignment agreements, developing exhibition budgets, and ensuring the smooth execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage consignment agreements and related paperwork.
  2. Develop and monitor exhibition budgets.
  3. Handle invoices and bookkeeping.
  4. Develop and disseminate exhibition materials.
  5. Manage studio correspondence.
  6. Oversee artwork, including insurance, packing, handling, and shipping.
  7. Maintain artwork inventory.

Requirements:

  1. Substantial experience in a professional role in the arts or creative industry.
  2. Bachelor of Arts Degree, preferably in Arts Management, Art History, Museum Studies, etc.
  3. Understanding of curatorial procedures.
  4. Excellent project management skills.
  5. High level of written and oral communication skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with special attention to accuracy.
  7. Ability to be flexible, communicative, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  9. Familiarity with social media tools and digital image management.
  10. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend assignments.

Additional languages, particularly French, Spanish, and Italian, are a bonus.
