Job Summary

The Nationalmuseums is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programmes Manager to join our team. As a key member of our exhibitions and public programmes team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of events and activities that attract new audiences and encourage engagement with the Museum's themes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a range of public programmes, including exhibitions, events, and talks, that align with the Museum's strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the Head of Exhibitions and other stakeholders to ensure that programmes are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including curators, designers, and educators, to develop and deliver programmes that are engaging and relevant.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure that programmes are delivered within budget and to a high standard.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of programmes, using data and feedback to inform future developments.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as museum studies, art history, or a related subject.
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering public programmes, including exhibitions and events.
