Job Summary
The Nationalmuseums is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programmes Manager to join our team. As a key member of our exhibitions and public programmes team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of events and activities that attract new audiences and encourage engagement with the Museum's themes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a range of public programmes, including exhibitions, events, and talks, that align with the Museum's strategic objectives.
- Work closely with the Head of Exhibitions and other stakeholders to ensure that programmes are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including curators, designers, and educators, to develop and deliver programmes that are engaging and relevant.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure that programmes are delivered within budget and to a high standard.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of programmes, using data and feedback to inform future developments.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field, such as museum studies, art history, or a related subject.
- Proven experience of developing and delivering public programmes, including exhibitions and events.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of key issues and trends in contemporary art, design, and culture.
