We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Curatorial Assistant to join our Exhibitions department at the Southbank Centre.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and curatorial support to the curatorial team, contributing to the planning, organisation and delivery of Hayward exhibitions and other projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the curatorial team in the development and implementation of exhibition concepts and programmes
  • Assist with the coordination of exhibition logistics, including installation, de-installation and transportation of artworks
  • Contribute to the research and writing of exhibition texts, labels and other materials
  • Provide administrative support to the curatorial team, including maintaining records and databases

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a curatorial or administrative role in the arts sector
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
