About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curatorial and Collections Assistant to join our team at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. The successful candidate will provide collections care and curatorial assistance across the Science Collections, supporting teaching and research requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide collections care and documentation, including object handling, cataloguing, and labelling.
  • Assist with teaching and research requirements, working closely with the wider Museums and Cultural Programmes team.
  • Support collections-wide projects, collaborating with colleagues across the institute.
  • Work at the Royal Free Hospital Campus and main Bloomsbury campus, given the location of the museum collections.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a museum or study room containing collections of human remains.
  • Experience of collections care and documentation.
  • Experience of working with and handling a wide range of fragile, heavy, and valuable artworks and objects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
