We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curatorial and Collections Assistant to join our team at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. The successful candidate will provide collections care and curatorial assistance across the Science Collections, supporting teaching and research requirements.
The role holder will work closely with the wider Museums and Cultural Programmes team on collections-wide projects, and will be required to work at the Royal Free Hospital Campus and main Bloomsbury campus. This is a fixed-term role with an end date of 31st July, and is not suitable for regular remote working.
About YouWe are looking for candidates who possess the following experience and skills:
- Experience of working in a museum or study room containing collections of human remains.
- Experience of collections care and documentation, including object handling, cataloguing, and labelling.
- Experience of working with and handling a wide range of fragile, heavy, and valuable artworks and objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 41 days' holiday, a defined benefit pension scheme, and access to on-site nursery and gym facilities.
