Mental Health Practitioner for Children and Young People

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Youth Justice Service team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health assessments and interventions to children and young people involved with the Youth Justice Service.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of children and young people referred to the Youth Justice Service.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to address the mental health needs of our service users.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to colleagues within the team.
- Collaborate with other agencies to ensure seamless care pathways for our service users.
- Contribute to the development of our service's care pathways and protocols.
- Professional qualifications in child and adolescent mental health, such as nursing, social work, or clinical psychology.
- Specialist training in psychological therapy with children and families.
- Experience of working with children and young people who have been involved with the youth justice system.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and build strong relationships with colleagues and service users.
