About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS team in Oldham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and formulating treatment plans for young people, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of young people, including risk assessments and formulation of treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide holistic care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each young person.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including group and individual work, to support young people in achieving their goals and improving their mental health.
  • Work closely with partner services, including education and children's services, to ensure seamless care and support for young people.
Requirements
  • NMC nursing, social work, OT, or equivalent health/social care qualification and active registration with relevant regulatory body.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in community mental health services to postgraduate diploma level.
  • Professional involvement with users of mental health services.
  • Experience of case management of young people, multi-agency working, and therapeutic interventions.
