Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner - Band 6/7

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Stockport. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing mental health assessments, evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, and consultation for children, adolescents, and families.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans for children and young people.
  • Deliver psychotherapeutic interventions, including CBT and other evidence-based approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, colleges, and other agencies to promote mental health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of mental health services for children and young people.
  • Engage in clinical supervision and peer review to ensure high-quality practice.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in CYP Psychological Wellbeing Practice or EMHP.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and with a range of stakeholders.
