CV-Library is seeking a skilled Youth Development Specialist to provide mental health support services to students. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
About the Job:Your expertise will help students develop essential coping strategies, rebuild confidence, and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:- Offer one-to-one support to students experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Collaborate with educational professionals to design and implement individualised learning plans.
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with students, encouraging open communication and trust.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams, monitoring student progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Design and deliver therapeutic activities to enhance students' emotional resilience.
- Experience working with students who have faced adversity.
- Effective behaviour management skills and a compassionate approach to challenging situations.
- A solid understanding of mental health requirements and a commitment to supporting vulnerable students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desirable: relevant qualifications or training in youth development or education.
