Job Title: Learning Technologies Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Technologies Trainer to join our team at Police Scotland. The successful candidate will design, develop, deliver, maintain, and evaluate Learning Technologies training programs to support the needs of end users in operational and specialist departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Learning Technologies training programs to meet the needs of end users
  • Deliver training programs to end users in operational and specialist departments
  • Maintain and evaluate Learning Technologies training programs to ensure they are effective and meet the needs of end users
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training programs
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users on the use of Learning Technologies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant learning and development subject
  • Or a combination of relevant qualifications and a minimum of 2 years experience in a training delivery environment
  • Digital literacy and proficiency using multiple software packages and pieces of hardware
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure set deadlines are met
  • Ability to travel throughout Scotland for upskilling, training delivery, meetings, and workshops

Working Arrangements:

This is an internal facing service delivery role, and Hybrid Working is not guaranteed. There may be a requirement to be in the workplace up to 5 days each week. The postholder will also be required to travel throughout Scotland for upskilling, training delivery, meetings, and workshops, and may require overnight stays away from home.
