About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Learning Development Officer to join our team at Police Scotland. As a key member of our digital learning team, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of national E-Learning, blended learning, and new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop engaging and effective E-Learning content for our learners.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality learning materials.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and blended learning approaches.
  • Contribute to the development of our Competency Values Framework (CVF) and ensure alignment with our learning strategy.
  • Work closely with our IT department to ensure seamless integration of E-Learning systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with E-Learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
