Job Title: Learning Technologies Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Technologies Trainer to join our team at Police Scotland. The successful candidate will design, develop, deliver, maintain, and evaluate Learning Technologies training programmes to support the needs of end users in operational and specialist departments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Learning Technologies training programmes to meet the needs of end users
  • Deliver training programmes to end users in operational and specialist departments
  • Maintain and evaluate Learning Technologies training programmes to ensure they are effective and meet the needs of end users
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Learning Technologies trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant learning and development subject
  • Or a combination of relevant qualifications and a minimum of 2 years experience in a training delivery environment
  • Digital literacy and proficiency using multiple software packages and pieces of hardware
  • Ability to prioritise work to ensure set deadlines are met
  • Ability to travel throughout Scotland for upskilling, training delivery, meetings, and workshops
