Experienced Immigration Solicitor Wanted for Leading Law Firm

GEMINI RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD is seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join their team at a leading law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers, as well as providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers to ensure effective case management and delivery of high-quality results.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on Immigration law and procedures.
- Assist with the delivery of training and development programs for the department.
- Deal with a range of Immigration work, including detained clients, victims of trafficking and torture, asylum work, entry clearance applications, and appeals.
- Prepare and manage funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency.
- Prepare draft documents, including witness statements and processing evidence.
- Prepare applications to meet Home Office requirements, including drafting application forms, indexes of documents, and letters of representation.
- Attend conferences and court proceedings.
- Registered with the Law Society Immigration Accreditation Level 2.
- Valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying.
- Strong management skills and ability to lead a team.
- Professional with a proactive approach, excellent client care skills, and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters in a sensitive manner.
- Excellent networking and communication skills, with the ability to successfully market the company and generate new business.
- Working knowledge of publically funded Immigration work and ability to service privately funded cases.
- Extensive experience in dealing with all Immigration-related work and some expertise on adoption matters.
- Experience in own advocacy is an advantage.
- Excellent IT skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
