Experienced Immigration/Public Law Solicitor

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled Immigration/Public Law Solicitor or Senior Immigration Caseworker with substantial expertise in Immigration and Asylum law, as well as Judicial Review and Public Law. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, handling various aspects of immigration and asylum cases, including legal aid and appeals.
At Oliver & Hasani Solicitors, we hold a Legal Aid Agency contract that encompasses Asylum, Immigration, and Public Law, including detention contracts for legal aid work on asylum claims. Additionally, we provide advisory services at several Immigration Detention Centers through our DDAS Advice Surgery contract.
Our firm boasts a robust and accomplished Public Law Team that specializes in Judicial Review applications in the Upper Tribunal and Administrative Court, along with appeals to higher courts. If you are passionate about advocating for justice for vulnerable individuals, this role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and experienced team of solicitors and immigration caseworkers.
Our firm has achieved recognition as Category 1, Excellence in the Legal Aid Agency Peer Review audits in recent years. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in managing their own caseload, exhibit exceptional case management abilities, and demonstrate the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A Law Society IAAS Level 2 Senior Immigration Caseworker accreditation is essential for this position.
