We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Immigration/Public Law Solicitor or Senior Immigration Caseworker with substantial expertise in Immigration and Asylum matters, as well as Judicial Review and Public Law. The successful candidate will be integral to our dynamic office environment.
The role encompasses both Private and Publicly funded work, where the individual will manage their own caseload across various aspects of immigration and asylum law, including legal aid and appeals processes.
Our firm, OLIVER & HASANI LTD, is proud to hold a Legal Aid Agency contract for Asylum, Immigration, and Public Law, which includes a detention contract for legal aid work related to asylum claims. Additionally, we provide advisory services to applicants at several Immigration Detention Centers.
We boast a robust and accomplished Public Law Team that undertakes Judicial Review applications in the Upper Tribunal and Administrative Court, along with appeals to higher courts. This position is ideal for those passionate about advocating for vulnerable individuals in our society.
The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in managing their own caseload, demonstrate excellent case management abilities, and show a capacity to collaborate effectively within a team as well as independently. A prerequisite for this role is holding the Law Society IAAS Level 2 Senior Immigration Caseworker accreditation.
