Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at Primary Care Careers. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our doctors, practice manager, and business manager, ensuring the efficient operation of our practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to our clinical team, including typing letters, reports, and patient referrals.
- Action referrals on SystmOne, ensuring accurate and timely completion of forms.
- Maintain filing and administrative systems, ensuring easy access to written and computer information.
- Retrieve medical records and assist with the completion of medical and insurance records.
- Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, taking messages and dealing with queries.
- Maintain the computer clinic system, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Provide cover for members of the secretarial team during periods of sickness and annual leave.
