SEMH Teaching Assistant Role Overview



We are working with a wonderful school in Whitton who are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to extend into the next academic year.



The Role:


  • Immediate start with a long-term contract until July 2024
  • Competitive pay rate of £85-£95 per day, inclusive of holiday pay
  • Opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive school environment
  • Working in a variety of settings, including in-class support and small group work


Personal Specification:


  • At least a 2:1 Psychology-related Degree from a Russell Group University or one of the UK's Top 20 Universities
  • Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH Needs is desirable but not essential
  • Ambition to pursue a career within the Education sector


This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience working with SEMH Needs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support challenging students in a variety of settings, developing their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.
