Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Support Specialist. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals with physical and learning difficulties, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of support services, ensuring compliance with Diverse Abilities' policies and procedures, as well as Commissioning and CQC standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the service, working closely with the Team Leader to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Liaise with the Team Leader regarding the individuals we support and staffing requirements.
  • Work independently, using your own initiative and seeking guidance from the Team Leader as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, friends, and other professionals, promoting a professional and respectful image of Diverse Abilities.
  • Attend all team meetings, which will include important communications and training opportunities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma Level 3/4 or equivalent (or willingness to work towards this)
  • Basic numeracy and literacy
