Regional Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Marketing Manager to join our team in the Southern UK region. As a key member of our field-based team, you will work closely with our agency team, manufacturer, and retail network to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns.

Your primary responsibility will be to plan, implement, and measure local marketing campaigns across all business areas, fostering strong relationships with the retailer network. You will be a progressive, collaborative marketeer with a passion for the automotive industry and a strong understanding of the latest marketing channel innovations.

As a Regional Marketing Manager, you will be the expert across multi-channels, a source of authority to consult on best practice, and skilled in fostering relationships. You will work with the retailer network to identify business challenges and opportunities and advise on marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultant to retail dealers regarding lead generation, lead management, and customer loyalty.
  • Support the network in achieving conquest brand standards, notably compliant and effective execution of experiential, digital, and social activity.
  • Prioritize your time to support all partners while focusing on those dealers who require assistance in planning their marketing activity.
  • Develop strong relationships with dealers, agency, and manufacturer colleagues through a combination of face-to-face site visits and regular online interactions.
  • Work with Sales and After Sales field-team colleagues to ensure relevant requirements are understood and agreed.
  • Continually demonstrate a full understanding of the automotive industry and specifically the changing role played by dealer networks.
  • Identify and support any new starters within the network to provide inductions to the brand and marketing support provided.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a similar field-based marketing role (client or agency-side) and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Dynamic and inspiring confidence in the dealer network and senior management, with in-depth channel knowledge, you will be a team player and an expert in your field.
  • Comprehensive and demonstrable knowledge of the full marketing mix, notably digital and social platforms.
  • An understanding of data, reporting (strong Excel ability), and how to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Adept at building and maintaining strong client and colleague relationships that engender trust and add value.
  • An understanding of the automotive industry is advantageous.
