This position presents an exciting opportunity to join our Paediatric team at the Great Western Hospital, where you will be part of a busy department with wide experience in general and neonatal paediatrics.

This role is an ideal chance for medical professionals to contribute to the development of clinical policies and adhere to standing orders, financial instructions, and procedures within the Trust's framework for Clinical Governance and Risk. As a member of our ST3+ Team, you will participate in supervised Consultant-led new and follow-up outpatient clinics, providing in-patient services for children and infants, and contributing to undergraduate/post-graduate and continuing medical education activity.

Our staff are managerially accountable through their Lead Clinician and Associate Medical Director, who have overall responsibility for the services within the Directorate. This role offers opportunities for leadership and development under the direction of the Lead Clinician and Associate Medical Director, in line with the Trust's business plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To be part of the ST3+ Team (middle-grade) at the Great Western Hospital.
  • To participate in supervised Consultant-led new and follow-up outpatient clinics.
  • To provide in-patient services for children and infants.
  • To participate in the general medicine on call rota [including out of hours].
  • To contribute to undergraduate/post-graduate and continuing medical education activity.

Estimated salary range: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
