Job Title: Senior Care Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Team Lead to join our team at Bupa. As a Senior Care Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants and supporting the Nurse in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Support the Nurse in clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse to ensure seamless handovers and effective communication.
  • Provide training and supervision to new staff members, ensuring they feel welcome and supported.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
  • Assist residents with personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or equivalent role.
  • Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives.
