Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Team Lead to join our team at Bupa. As a Senior Care Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants and supporting the Nurse in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Support the Nurse in clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
- Assist residents with personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new care initiatives and policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care leadership role, preferably in a care home setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and external teams.
- Knowledge of care standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
