About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team at Sewell Wallis Ltd. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients in the preparation of their financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial records, including bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Accounts preparation and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies
  • Assistance with personal and corporation tax returns
  • Working to tight deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in an accountancy practice or similar role
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation skills
  • Working knowledge of preparing tax returns
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, Word, and accounting software
