Purchase Ledger Clerk

Inclusive Consulting is thrilled to be partnered with our FMCG client in their search for a skilled and ambitious Purchase Ledger Clerk based in Doncaster for a period of 11 months’ maternity cover.
You will support the daily running of the purchase ledger function, processing large volumes of invoices and financial reports, alongside other ad hoc duties including Sales Ledger when required.
This role would suit a hands-on individual with excellent attention to detail and time management skills who is not afraid to get stuck into the role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Request and chase up approvals of invoices
- Process high volumes of invoices
- Assist with Sales Ledger support when required
- Resolving queries
- Filing cleared and paid invoices
- Raising and posting journals
- Petty cash journals, balancing petty cash control account
**Key Attributes**:
- Experience of both Purchase and Sales ledger
- Good organisation skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
On offer is a salary of c. £26k FTE plus a wider benefits package.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 11 months
Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
