- Maintain high standards of site security, following procedures and maintaining logbooks.
- Efficiently notify colleagues of visitor arrivals and ensure smooth communication.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls and responding to queries.
- Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms remain tidy and well-maintained.
- Direct visitors to meeting rooms and assist with meeting room bookings.
- Arrange taxis and couriers as required, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Accept and process post items, including letters, parcels, and packages.
- Notify recipients of deliveries and inform IT of incoming items.
- Coordinate regular couriers for starter kits and leavers' IT equipment.
- Organize outgoing post and couriers as needed.
- Assist with setting up suppliers, raising purchase orders, and receipting.
- Maintain sufficient stock levels of stationery, tea, coffee, and sugar.
- Arrange catering for customer meetings and staff events.
- Alert the Facilities Manager to any security threats or environmental issues.
- A team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Calm under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-centric and goal-oriented approach.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience in a similar role within the software/IT industry.
- Experience in client-facing roles within a corporate company.
