Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics
Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics to make a lasting difference to children with brain injury and neuro-disability. You will gain unique experience in Paediatrics, Neurorehabilitation, and management of Neuro-disability. Previous experience in Paediatric Neurodisability is not required.
The Children's Trust is a leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.
Main Duties:
As a Specialty Doctor, you will be a key member of the Medical Team, providing clinical care for children with brain injury and neuro-disability across The Children's Trust. You will assess new children under supervision, identify clinical risks, write medical reports, and provide regular medical support. You will receive support from Consultants in Paediatric Neurodisability, Consultant Paediatrician, and Senior Specialty Doctors in Paediatric Neurodisability.
Requirements:
- Full professional GMC registration and licence to practice and an MBBS or equivalent.
- Strong clinical skills, combined with excellent child and family-focused interpersonal skills.
- A caring, supportive, and can-do approach.
- Willingness to take study leave and commitment to receive training in Paediatrics, Neuro-disability, and Neurorehabilitation.
