About the Role

Pfizer is seeking an experienced Biostatistician to join our team in Global Biometrics and Data Management organization. As a key member of our nonclinical safety studies team, you will be responsible for providing effective statistical consultation with scientists and toxicologists.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and biostatistics, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an applied statistics setting or a Ph.D. in Statistics or a comparable quantitative field. Proficiency in R programming (2+ years) is also required.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and interpret nonclinical safety studies, ensuring that they are statistically sound and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement statistically sound approaches for the design, analysis, and reporting of nonclinical safety studies.
  2. Collaborate with scientists and toxicologists to identify optimal solutions to scientific problems.
  3. Partner with other data science and computational groups to develop automated statistical solutions.
Requirements
  • M.S. in Statistics or Biostatistics with minimum 5 years' experience in an applied statistics setting, or Ph.D. in Statistics or a comparable quantitative field with minimum 2 years' experience.
  • Programming in R (2+ years).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
