Job Summary

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Executive to oversee our stock on hand position, ensuring a cash-positive position while driving revenue growth and strong gross profit margins. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Ensure balanced stock levels throughout the year, minimizing overbuys and maximizing core line availability. Manage the WSSI/MSSI and PO process to ensure buys align with the commercial budget and cash flow forecast.
  • Logistics: Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, including importation, customs clearance, and transportation. Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Range Architecture: Develop a product range architecture that balances core offerings with seasonal and on-trend NPD. Provide the framework for the product function to curate a balanced product assortment that maximizes commercial opportunity.
  • Merchandise Planning: Develop and execute a profitable merchandise strategy that aligns with our brand vision and key market trends. Collaborate with the e-commerce and marketing functions to integrate these plans into the commercial calendar.
  • Pricing Strategy: Own the RRP strategy for both D2C channels, ensuring optimized gross profit margin and customer conversion rate. Own sale activation propositions, TIKTOK campaigns, and BFCM campaigns.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in buying & merchandising in a D2C environment.
  • Experienced in logistics, inventory forecasting, merchandising, and range planning.
  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to process and treat data efficiently.
  • Experience with using WSSI/MSSI to manage and report on stock on-hand positioning.
  • Understanding of e-commerce marketing activity and retail.
  • Understanding of P&L structures (e.g. COGS & Direct costs) and the relationship between product margins and the bottom line.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience in buying stock across multiple locations/countries, knowledge with marketing and forecasting.
