Financial Operations Specialist

The Financial Operations Specialist will play a key role in connecting finance with other teams within the company. They will provide financial guidance, analyze data, and support decision-making to help the business grow and manage costs more effectively.
About the Role
- Take responsibility for reviewing and issuing monthly contract profit and loss statements, along with supporting analysis and commentary, providing insight and variance analysis for contract directors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date costings for contracts and sites using Excel.
- Ensure that revenue billing is complete and accurate.
- Monitor the provision of additional services to contract customers and ensure that financial controls are in place to ensure all such services are delivered profitably.
- Provide support and analysis for new business tenders.
- Maintain regular dialogue with colleagues and customer contacts to remain up-to-date on all financial aspects of contract operations and to enable early identification of risks and opportunities.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by the Finance Director.
Requirements
- Strong financial expertise - Deep knowledge of financial principles, analysis, and forecasting.
- Business acumen - Understanding of the broader business and industry to provide relevant insights.
- Analytical skills - Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable advice.
- Communication skills - Clearly conveying financial insights to non-finance teams and stakeholders.
What We Offer
Competitive salary range: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. Bonus up to 10%. Private healthcare. Pension. 25 days annual holiday. Hybrid working: 3 days office, 2 days home.
