Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager for our industrial hydraulic components division. As a senior sales professional, you will be responsible for selling hydraulic components into industrial OEMs and distributors across the UK.

About the Company:

A world-leading manufacturer of hydraulic components is looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong network of customers who buy hydraulic components such as machine tool manufacturers, food processing, oil and gas, power, energy, gas turbine manufacturers, machine builders, metal cutting and forming, and injection moulding, industrial hydraulic distributors, and hydraulic system integrators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Map out and segment the industrial hydraulics market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Pursue new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth expectations.
Requirements:
  • External sales experience from an associated sector (hydraulics, pumps, valves, fluid dynamics).
  • Mechanical engineering background.
  • Strong strategic thinker with exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of business-to-business sales.
  • Dynamic attitude and enthusiasm for sales.
  • Mechanical engineering apprenticeship desirable.
