Are you an experienced In-House Recruiter looking for a new challenge? We are seeking someone to partner with our global engineering client on a temporary basis.

This role will involve managing up to 30 roles in-house and requires experience in resourcing, recruitment, and talent acquisition.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with hiring managers to develop resourcing plans and strategies.
  • Gather information about resourcing requirements and challenges across all locations, disciplines, and support functions.
  • Implement effective hiring and retention strategies for all levels of staff.
  • Candidates will be sourced directly through job boards, networking, and talent pools.
  • Ensure a high standard of candidate experience by screening and supporting candidates throughout the process.
  • Improve the end-to-end candidate and management recruitment experience.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior resourcing staff.
  • Design and implement national and global advertising campaigns and collaborate with suitable suppliers.
  • Conduct behavioural and psychometric testing and analysis.
  • Identify areas for process, technology, marketing, and system efficiency improvements.
  • Analyse and circulate recruitment-related management information.
  • Manage and monitor external suppliers.
  • Utilise talent pools and maintain data on the applicant tracking system in real-time.
  • Support the onboarding of candidates to employees.
  • Deliver recruitment training to hiring managers.
  • Assist with volume recruitment administration tasks as needed.
  • Maintain centralised recruitment materials and templates.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant employment, data protection, and immigration legislation.

The salary for this role is £43,250.

This hybrid role will be based from home 2 days a week and either our Newcastle or London offices depending on the candidate's location.
