We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting students with autism and other special educational needs. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teaching staff and health professionals to ensure that students' education, personal, and social needs are met.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Special Educational Needs or in the care sector, and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A motivated and solution-focused approach is essential, as well as the ability to meet the physical demands of the post.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with autism and other special educational needs in a primary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and health professionals to develop and implement effective support plans
  • Provide individualized support to students to promote their educational, personal, and social development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular review meetings
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs or in the care sector
  • Motivated and solution-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the post
