About the Role:
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Hackney. This rewarding opportunity involves providing in-class support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, helping them engage with the curriculum.
- Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to implement personalized education plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
