About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arts and Events Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of instigating or producing innovative and high-quality arts and cultural activities that engage local communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on projects that revolve around engagement, collaboration, and participatory decision-making with local residents.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including local communities, artists, and cultural organizations.
  • Support the development and implementation of cultural programmes that promote community engagement, placemaking, and economic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Council's regeneration and place shaping teams to deliver cultural initiatives that support the borough's ten-year Arts and Culture Strategy 2021-31.
