Job Title: Art Producer

Are you passionate about sparking creative possibilities and transformations for young people, emerging artists, communities, and audiences?

We are seeking a talented Art Producer to join our Creative Collaboration team at the Barbican Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality events and programmes that engage with younger and new audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate innovative arts projects that showcase emerging talent and new audiences.
  • Collaborate with artform departments to deliver cross-disciplinary programmes that break down traditional arts boundaries.
  • Work closely with the Lead Producer and Head of Creative Collaboration to ensure the success of our artistic vision.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for creative collaboration and partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of our artistic programme, ensuring it is inclusive, sustainable, and connected to our communities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of the contemporary music scene and emerging talent.
  • Passion for all arts and experience of delivering public events at a range of scales.
  • Generous collaborator with a great eye for talent and awareness of barriers to engaging with culture.
  • Drive and determination to make space for underserved and under-represented groups at the Barbican.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to plan and deliver multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and relate to all levels of professional practitioners in the arts sector.
