Salary Range: £140 - £220 per day (Competitive rates based on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join our client school in Barnet as a SEN supply teacher. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about empowering students with special educational needs to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Provide support to students during lessons and assist with their personal care when required
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in an SEN setting is desirable
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different learning environments
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service
