Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Barnet. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a comprehensive support system that fosters each child's development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working one-on-one and in small groups with pupils who have a variety of special educational needs
- Assisting in lesson delivery and modifying materials to suit individual needs
- Collaborating with professionals to promote positive behavior and manage classroom dynamics
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of special educational needs and how to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential
